Today we take a quick look at the movie Get Shorty movie (1995).

I talked about the Get Shorty Tv Series (2017-2019) the other day.

Both were written by my favorite crime writer Elmore Leonard.

Both with the same premise – but all the characters have different names.

IMDB describes the movie like so: “A mobster travels to Hollywood to collect a debt and discovers that the movie business is much the same as his current job.”

A fine, star-studded cast – John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Rene Russo, Danny DeVito, Dennis Farina, Delroy Lindo, and James Gandolfini four years before The Sopranos.

Saw the movie a dozen or so time – but not for a while – so I’ll be trying to watch it again soon.
