On Monday evening I was on my way to watch the Villanova game on TV at a watering hole in Philly. It was around seven o’clock and I was driving in the rain on I-95 – and then a double-dose of ESP hit me.
The episodes happened as I was approaching the airport.
In the midst of the downpour, the sun suddenly made an appearance behind me and illuminated the sky in brilliant sunshine. So rain and dusk were in front and bright sunshine was behind, and I said, “Raquel, it’s times like this when you can sometimes see a rainbow.”
BOOM – a rainbow pops up right in front of us – in the sky to the left.
That was ESP episode number-one. The rainbow appeared like I was making a prediction.
And then I said, “When I lived on St. Croix, I used to see rainbows all the time. In fact, one time, I was out for a run with my friend Bill (Gaffney) and his wife Jeanne (Jacobs-Gaffney). Anyway, by coincidence, we were approaching the airport and suddenly there was a double rainbow right in front of us.”
“No kidding,” Raquel said.
“And we wound up running underneath both of them.”
“No kidding.”
“Did you ever see a double rainbow, Raquel?”
“No, I never did.”
BOOM – a double rainbow pops up right in front of us – looping over I-95. One was very vivid and the other somewhat feint. But they hovered in front of us for a good mile or two.
And that was ESP episode number-two. The double-rainbow appeared like I was making a prediction.
How else would you explain it?
And then the sun ducked behind the clouds and the rainbows disappeared.
Maybe I’ll play the lottery this week.
