Well, well, well, how about this.
Marcus Mariota doesn’t know whether he’s going to throw passes at the upcoming NFL Combine – or skipping the event. Seems that he injured the shoulder of his throwing arm in the loss to Ohio State and he may, or may not, have recovered from that injury to be well enough to show-off his goods.
“Right now we’re still making that decision,” Mariota said on Saturday at a press conference in Hawaii – where he was being honored as the first Polynesian College Football Player of the Year. “I had to kinda rest about a week-and-a-half. But now, I’m able to throw. Feels good.”
With the incessant talk about Marcus Mariota on all aspects of sports media in Philly, I’m surprised that this was the first I heard of the extent of the injury.
