Odd Job

Odd Job

Odd Job ─ from 1964’s Goldfinger ─ tangles in a death match with James Bond inside the gold vaults at Fort Knox.

Without saying very much ─ if anything at all ─ Odd Job established himself in my mind as one of the most sinister movie villains ever.

Harold Sakata plays Odd Job (Yes, I changed the spelling from Oddjob to make it more recognizable.)

Harold Sakata was born in 1920 in Holualoa, Hawaii, and died in Honolulu in 1982 at the age of 62.

He racked up 31 acting credits in movies and TV. Goldfinger was his first. He also wrestled under the name of Tosh Togo.

In the clip below, after a quick kiss-off from Auric Goldfinger to James Bond, a fight to the death ensues between Odd Job and Bond. James Bond.

WATCH OUT FOR THAT HAT.

I’m America’s Best Crime Writer – Barry Bowe – & I approve this message.

My first book – Born to Be Wild – was published in 1992 and is still selling on Amazon & Kindle. it’s a true story about certain members of the Warlocks motorcycle gang.

The story took 21 years to play out with many twists & turns. It’s an amalgam of Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad – but these outlaw bikers make the Sons look like Cub Scouts.
