Just like Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men, Mike Missanelli can’t handle the truth.
I wrote an article this morning entitled “Mike Missanelli Weaseled Me.” If you haven’t yet read it, check it out when you get a chance. It’ll give you some background on my motivation for this current post.
This morning’s post was written in the spirit of April Fool’s Day – providing humor, while at the same time being true. The story took place 21 years ago, in 1994, but I have an excellent memory. Check out the details. And I tweeted Mike because I wanted him to see it. I harbor no ill-will for Mike. I’ve been listening to him for years. Nor do I have anything to gain or hide. I hoped he’d accept it in the spirit of the day.
Mike obviously read the article because I was picking up some cat food and fruit at Giant when I got a notification that I had a new follower on Twitter – Mikey Miss. I said to myself, Good, Mike took it with a grain of salt.
And he tweeted me back . . .
Since Mike followed me and responded, I thought he was playing along. So I tweeted back.
Once again, I mixed truth with humor.
But by the time I got home from the store and tried to reciprocate by following Mikey Miss and sending him another message – he’d ended the dialogue with a unilateral block – like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand – or a weasel running for cover.
Like I said at the top – Mike Missanelli can’t handle the truth.
